Meet the Animals

Walk through the aromatic garden, walk alongside Augusta the little donkey, goat milking, visit to the farm animals, aromatic bouquet, tasting of a wine and Sicilian specialties.

We will welcome you along the paths leading to the organic olive grove, vineyard, and citrus orchard for a pleasant nature walk. The first stop will be in the aromatic garden, where we will play a sensory game to discover the main Mediterranean aromatic plants. Together, we will prepare a small aromatic bouquet that you can take home with you.

We will then visit the animal area to learn about the habits and curiosities of Pantelleria donkeys, miniature horses, Girgentana goats, gentle rabbits, and cheerful geese, ducks, and hens. It will be an exciting experience to milk the goat and feed the animals.

Next, we will move to the farm’s vast meadow to meet the gentle little donkey, Augusta. Walking slowly beside her, we will admire centuries-old olive trees, flowered arches, and rare plants. The braying of the other donkeys will signal that it’s time to return Augusta to her paddock.

To conclude, you will enjoy a tasting board featuring three Sicilian specialties, homemade bread with extra virgin olive oil, delicious extra jams, and organic honey. All of this will be complemented by a wine tasting that encapsulates the warmth of the Mediterranean.

• Wine tastings are reserved for adults only, as alcohol cannot be served to individuals under 18.
• This experience requires good weather. If canceled due to bad weather, an alternative date or experience will be offered.
