1/2 day Sicilian Cooking Class & Market Tour in Palermo

What’s on the Itinerary?

• We’ll meet in the morning at Mercato del Capo, one of Palermo’s oldest markets

• Shop around for any items we need for the lesson

• Then stroll to the air-conditioned school kitchen where we prepare a 4 course Sicilian meal

• Learn all the techniques and tricks you need to recreate it when you return home

• After the lesson we’ll sit down together to enjoy the fruits of our labour along with a selection of Sicilian wines rounded off with some homemade liqueurs and coffee

  What Dishes Will We Make?

• We’ll make a full Sicilian menu made up of a Starter, a Pasta dish, a Main Course and a Dessert

• Menus are seasonal and change daily based on what is at its best at that moment

• Have a look at some example menus to get your taste buds going! 

• We can cater for most dietary requirements as long as we know in advance

• We are open to hear any requests (although we can’t guarantee anything as what we prepare will depend on what is in the market)

  Is There Anything Else Included?

• You will receive recipe cards of what we make to take home with you

• We will supply you with aprons and all equipment and food necessary for the lesson

• Refreshments, water and coffee will also be available throughout

• We have air-conditioning for when it is hot and central heating for when it is cooler
